The ACCESS YOUR FUTURE Scholarship Program is a program with educational reimbursement benefits for individuals interested in a career in the equipment industry as a service technician. An education in diesel and heavy equipment technology is a solid foundation for a successful career in this industry.
The Access Your Future Scholarship Program has two path options for students to choose from in order to be eligible for reimbursement.
Sponsorship Path - The Sponsorship path is based on the student’s admission to an accredited diesel technology program as well as qualification through an application and interview process with RDO Equipment Co. The student would become part of the RDO Equipment Co. service team with access to part-time work opportunities during the school year and potential for increased hours in the summer months. Uniforms will also be provided for both school and work. Upon graduation, the student will be eligible for full-time employment in an RDO Equipment Co. service department. Once the student begins full-time employment, RDO Equipment Co. will reimburse their education up to $12,000, depending on the reimbursement option selected.
Non-Sponsorship Path - The Non-sponsorship path is based on the student’s graduation from an accredited diesel technology program and qualification through an application and interview process with RDO Equipment Co. This path would also apply to students who are in certificate programs, or their last nine months of school. He/she would then become a part of the RDO Equipment Co. service team with full-time employment. Once the student begins full-time employment and meets the pre-determined service expectations, RDO Equipment Co. will reimburse their education up to $12,000, depending on the reimbursement option selected.
RDO Equipment Co. provides students with the option of being reimbursed over a two or four year period while they maintain full-time employment with RDO Equipment Co.
